One of the elective options available towards fulfilling my minor in Lighting for Visual Presentation was a course on Photography, and I jumped at the opportunity to take it while in Italy. 

From developing film in a darkroom to using a DSLR, this class exposed me to the history of photography while fine tuning my skills in composition, framing, and Adobe Photoshop. 

Not only was I able to document my experience abroad through various genres— landscape, portrait, abstract, street, and macro— I was able to do so in an interesting and visually compelling way.

To top it off, I returned home with a robust portfolio of photos which have become some of my most treasured souvenirs from my journey.
